WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

Changing local politics in a city like Plymouth is a big challenge and there’s lots of work to do!  Change for Plymouth is open to everyone and always welcomes new faces.  If you’re curious about being part of the change there are a range of ways to get involved whether it’s dipping a toe in the water, or diving right in.

JOIN A CONVERSATION

Change for Plymouth hosts regular People’s Assemblies to investigate together how Plymouth could become a fairer, greener, more democratic city through community participation.  With a mix of presentation, chat, and facilitated discussion, conversations are open to all and take place in the heart of local neighbourhoods.

Every Assembly tackles questions that matter locally, with an agenda set by the people who attend.  In small groups we learn, discuss, and develop ideas which are then fed back – so that everyone listens and is heard.  Our Assemblies are held with the aim of expanding the political conversation – our role is to host spaces of conversation and listening, not to recruit or convert.
